Finding a colourist you trust in Bangkok takes time. Hair colour is one of those services where the difference between a good result and a bad one comes down to experience, the right products, and an honest conversation about what your hair can actually handle.
At Niche Salon, we have been colouring hair for over 15 years, working with clients from every background and hair type. Our colour menu is intentionally focused — we use two professional brands and know them inside out.
Milbon (Japan): Milbon is a high-end Japanese professional brand used in premium salons across Asia. It delivers precise, reliable colour with exceptional grey coverage and long-lasting results. For most colour services — including roots, full colour, and fashion shades — our colourists reach for Milbon first.
Natulique (Denmark): For clients who prefer an organic alternative, we offer Natulique — an internationally certified organic hair colour containing up to 98.02% natural ingredients. It’s vegan-certified, completely PPD-free, and safe for people with colour sensitivities. Moreover, it covers grey reliably and produces beautiful, long-lasting results. Pregnant and breastfeeding clients regularly choose this option.

Most conventional hair colours contain PPD (para-phenylenediamine), a chemical responsible for a large percentage of hair colour allergies. Because Natulique is completely PPD-free, it works well for clients who’ve had reactions to colour in the past or who simply want to reduce their exposure to harsh chemicals.
In terms of results, the performance is comparable to conventional colour. The main difference you’ll notice is that it smells significantly better in the chair and leaves the hair in noticeably better condition afterwards.

We use Milbon from Japan and Natulique organic from Denmark. Both are professional-grade brands used in premium salons. During consultation, your stylist will recommend which one suits your hair and goals best.
Natulique is the option we recommend for pregnant and breastfeeding clients. Because it’s PPD-free and made with up to 98% natural ingredients, it’s among the safest professional colour options available. That said, always consult your doctor before any chemical service during pregnancy.
Typically 4 to 6 weeks before roots become visible, and 6 to 8 weeks before the overall colour starts to fade noticeably. Bangkok’s water hardness and UV exposure do affect longevity, which is why we recommend colour-protective shampoos for home care.
All colour involves some chemical process, but the level of damage depends heavily on the products used and the colourist’s technique. We use professional-grade brands formulated to minimise damage. Furthermore, pairing colour with an Olaplex or Kérastase treatment in the same appointment significantly reduces any impact on the hair’s condition.
